West Point Little League’s run at the U12 state tournament came to an end Thursday night with a 5-4 loss to East Side. East Side, a team from West Chester, took a 4-0 lead in the first inning. West Point chipped away in the later innings but couldn’t tie the score. Carter Finley had a big game for West Point, going 2 for 3 with a double and a home run. Bennett Mento had two hits, Lucas Henry singled and scored a run and Dominic Bova and Sebastian Worman each added a hit for West Point.
