Ahead of the show’s fourth season premiere, Amazon Prime Video have set the cast for the fifth season of “Reacher,” its smash hit adaptation of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novels. After his train stops in the mysterious agrarian town of Mother’s Rest, Jack Reacher teams up with private investigator Michelle Chang in the search for a missing colleague. Amanda Ip takes on the season’s lead female role of Michelle Chang. Interestingly, Baruchel was cast in the fourth season of the series but was forced to drop out due to a personal matter, and was replaced by Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette. The new season of “Reacher” kicks off on August 12th with the spin-off series “Neagley” launching the following month.
