Traders are pricing in a 34.5 per cent chance that the BOE will hike interest rates in September, LSEG-compiled data showed. Economists anticipate Japanese interest rates will stay at 1 per cent. In cryptocurrencies, bitcoin was up 2.1 per cent at US$64,802.4, while ether was up 2.1 per cent higher at US$1,923.2.
