Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Levante for the transfer of Carlos Espi. Espi was the subject of interest from Premier League sides Leeds United and Hull City after an impressive campaign for Levante. He has signed a five-year deal with Los Blancos, keeping him at the club through to June 2031. No Levante player had more shots on target (24), more Opta-defined 'big' chances (18) or scored more 'big' chances (eight) than Espi in the Spanish top-flight. The 21-year-old was also named the Under-23 Player of the Season in LaLiga for his performances, helping Levante to a 16th-place finish, avoiding relegation.
