-- VENEX Company Limited (VENEX), a joint venture of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas), has been awarded one of the first certifications under the Global Sustainable Transport Certification (GSTC) scheme at the Shanghai International Shipping Green Fuel Sustainable Development Conference, becoming the only Hong Kong company among the inaugural certified entities. The GSTC framework, jointly established by the Global Sustainable Transport Innovation and Knowledge Center, China Classification Society, China Energy Engineering Group, and COSCO SHIPPING Logistics Supply Chain Co., Ltd., sets internationally credible standards for sustainable transport fuel assessment.
