The week-long celebration of the Grateful Dead guitarist will take over San Francisco with multiple tributes. “Jerry Week” (aka the “days between”) is an annual tribute to the life, music, and enduring spirit of Jerry Garcia. This Sunday, August 2nd, Melvin Seals & JGB will return to the historic venue for a special evening championing Garcia’s everlasting musical legacy. More than just bookending Jerry Week, these performances will reinforce San Francisco’s central role in Grateful Dead history. Jerry Week officially kicks off this Saturday, August 1st, with the 24th annual Jerry Day at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater in McLaren Park.
