Councilor Beverly Neal-Clinton read the proclamation and presented it to James Robinson of the Land of Enchantment Wildlife Foundation.
NOW, THEREFORE, on behalf of the Council of the Incorporated County of Los Alamos, I do hereby proclaim August 2026 as “BEAR MONTH IN LOS ALAMOS”And urge our citizens to participate in the Bear Festival to raise awareness and encourage responsible practices to ensure the safety and preservation of both humans and bears.
