On Saturday, July 18, the rodeo grounds in Murdo, South Dakota were crowded with pickups, trailers, and ranch mom SUVs as class reunion-goers and hopeful cowboys milled around in anticipation of the 17th annual Murdo Ranch Rodeo. There were four main events in the Ranch Rodeo: Trailer Loading, Hide Race, Tie Down and Branding, and the Range Ride. (The team previously won the Murdo Ranch Rodeo in 2021 and 2022.)
