Dorothy Faye Thompson, age 81, of Douglas, GA, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Thompson was born on December 1, 1944, in Coffee County, Georgia to the late Willie Jowers and Fronie Jowers. Thompson; parents, Willie Jowers and Fronie Jowers; and siblings, Jeanette Swails, Edward Jowers, Bill Jowers, Ruby Smith, and Latrelle Musgrove. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Sims Funeral Home. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
