Alberta RCMP are looking for information regarding a hit-and-run that sent a motorcyclist to the hospital on July 24. Mounties responded to a report of a hit-and-run just before 6:30 p.m. on July 24, on Anthony Henday Drive at the Baseline Road off-ramp in Strathcona County. It is believed that a vehicle described as a 2008-2011 white Genesis coupe was driving north on Anthony Henday Drive when it struck a motorcycle on the Baseline Road off-ramp and then fled. Paramedics took the 23-year-old motorcyclist to hospital with serious injuries. “Someone in our community was seriously injured, and investigators are working to identify the vehicle involved,” says Sergeant Jan Indenbosch of the Strathcona County RCMP.
