Watch : Amy Winehouse's Father to Pay Over $1 Million to Late Singer's Friends After Auction DisputeAmy Winehouse’s father Mitch Winehouse has been ordered to pay after unsuccessfully suing his late daughter’s friends as a personal representative of Amy’s estate. In a judgement handed down on July 29, which was obtained by E! News, deputy judge of the high court Sarah Clarke ruled that Mitch had to pay £963,852.88—or just under $1.3 million—in indemnity costs to the defendants. Some of the 155 items sold included Amy’s ballet slippers, bags, jewelry, makeup and a dress she wore on her final tour in 2011, according to The Guardian. A judge ruled against the Amy Winehouse Foundation co-founder on April 20, disputing his claim that the two women had “deliberately concealed” the sale of Amy’s items as Mitch “knew all along” of their intent to sell.
