ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The City of Albuquerque launched two new speed cameras and is set to launch two more next month. Automated speed enforcement cameras are now live on southbound Tramway near Lomas and westbound Paseo Del Norte west of Barstow. When the Coors cameras go live, the city will have 38 speed cameras live since starting the project in 2022. City leaders said the initial 20 cameras resulted in:A 54.7% to 96.2% decrease in drivers exceeding the posted speed limit by over 10 mph. A 0.6 mph to 8.8 mph decrease in average driver speed.
