According to Boles, Redeemed Wellness Center has continued paying employees while waiting for the city to reimburse expenses already incurred. According to emails shared with local television stations, Redeemed Wellness Center submitted reimbursement paperwork for May services on June 23, and city staff confirmed receipt. KIRO reported one issue involves payments that Redeemed Wellness Center made to workers through peer-to-peer payment platforms such as Zelle, which city contracts reportedly do not permit. The department also said it met with Redeemed Wellness Center on July 14 to discuss reimbursement requirements and continues working with the organization to resolve the dispute.
