Students will be able to drop off any trash, furniture, cardboard boxes and other recyclable items in designated locations near campus as thousands move in and out of their dorms and houses around Columbus. The locations will be open from July 24 to Aug. 11., according to a press release obtained by the Lantern. “We encourage anyone moving to plan ahead and utilize the added drop-off locations for donations and recycling to maximize our diversion from the landfill,” Gerber said. To avoid a parking ticket, students and others should be aware of temporary No Stopping signs enforced around these locations.
