ABUJA, Nigeria – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday received a delegation of traditional rulers from Oyo State at the State House, led by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja. Okay News reports that the visit was a courtesy call attended by several prominent monarchs from across Oyo State, alongside senior government officials and presidential aides. Among those present were the Aare Ago of Ogbomoso, Osi Olubadan, Balogun of Ibadanland, Onigbeti of Igbeti, Alajawa of Ajawa, Olugbon of Orile-Igbon and the Aseyin of Iseyin. Also in attendance were Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Minister of Power Joseph Tegbe, Nigerian Revenue Service Chairman Zach Adedeji, Sunday Dare and Mogaji Wole Arisekola. The Presidency did not immediately disclose details of the discussions held during the meeting, which formed part of ongoing engagements between the Federal Government and traditional institutions across the country.
