Okay News reports that Tinubu made the remarks on Thursday while receiving a delegation of Oyo State traditional rulers led by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, at the State House. The President said governors should prioritise building roads and transport links that improve access to rural communities and enable security agencies to respond more effectively to threats. He argued that such investments would have a greater impact than constructing flyovers where traffic volumes do not justify them. He said the Federal Government rejected the demands, insisting that his administration would neither negotiate with terrorists nor pay ransom. He said the Federal Government would continue strengthening forest guards and other security structures to address the evolving risks.
