iPhone and Apple Watch users in Oklahoma will soon be able to add their driver's licenses and IDs to the Apple Wallet app. Oklahoma passed a House bill in March that allows Service Oklahoma to issue mobile or digital versions of stated ID cards and driver’s licenses, and this is a consequence of that bill. These digital IDs and driver’s licenses are not intended to replace the physical versions, so people in Oklahoma will still need to have the latter. The digital versions are a "companion option", accepted at select TSA checkpoints as well as some business venues. Other states that are planning to support digital IDs and driver's licenses on Apple Wallet are Connecticut, Kentucky, Mississippi, Utah, and Virginia, with the last two already spotted in Apple's backend systems alongside Oklahoma.
