Putnam County Fair Board announced it will name the fair office building in honor of long-time volunteer Pam Thomas to commemorate her 33 years of service. Fair Board Member Bill Dyer said the board decided to recognize Thomas’s permanent impact on the organization as the 100th annual Putnam County Fair begins. “The Putnam County Fair has become a true family tradition because of her dedication.” “Thank you, Pam, for all your dedication and work throughout the years for helping us keep our sanity during the fair,” Dyer said. The 100th annual Putnam County Agricultural and Industrial Fair officially commenced following a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Putnam County Convention Center.
