Christian County Public Schools officials say the new Christian County High School remains on schedule to welcome students when classes begin Aug. 19. click to download audioStudents and parents will have opportunities to become familiar with the campus before the first day of classes through academy open houses and orientation events. Students in the Academy of Freshman Success and the Business, Engineering and Manufacturing Academy will attend open house activities from 3 to 6 p.m. on Aug. 11. Carver said district officials are also finalizing traffic plans for the new campus. The district plans to release traffic maps and parking information through social media before classes begin.
