Finches Lane and Shawford Road are still undergoing carriageway resurfacing, which started on July 27 and is said to take around one week to complete. Work covers Shawford Road between Otterbourne Road and Queen Street, and Finches Lane between Churchfields Road and Twyford High Street. Colden Common Community Centre is organising an Amateur Art and Craft Exhibition in the Patrick Moore Room from Thursday, August 27 to Sunday 30, timed for the school summer holidays. Anyone able to lend equipment or spare some time is asked to contact the Community Centre office at events@coldencommoncc.co.uk.
