Construction continues on the Cowan Recreation Centre at RBJ Schlegel Park in Kitchener but once it’s open, it will offer all kinds of amenities including for cricketers.
In addition to outdoor options, the state-of-art recreation facility will feature a dedicated indoor space for cricket players to practice and train.
Kitchener-based mortgage broker, Grow with Nav Inc., is contributing $100,000 over 10 years to sponsor the new “Grow Nation Cricket Nets”, which will be the city’s first municipally-owned and operated indoor cricket nets.
Sponsoring the cricket nets is about giving Kitchener’s kids and families a place to play the game they love, without leaving the city.
NEWS: Grow Nation Cricket Nets are coming to the Cowan Recreation Centre at RBJ Schlegel Park, thanks to a $100,000 sponsorship over the next 10 years from local partner, @growwithnav.
