Celtic supporters will now be able to download standard match tickets directly to their mobile wallets following the wider introduction of the club’s digital ticketing system. When purchasing a standard match ticket, supporters can choose the digital format and add it to a compatible smartphone or Apple Watch. Several clubs across Britain introduced similar systems some time ago and already use mobile tickets as a standard part of their matchday operations. After testing the system last season, Celtic are now making digital tickets a more established part of the match day experience. The next step many supporters would appreciate is the same option being introduced for Celtic season tickets.
