Hi everyone, New guy here, looking around for an XJ around $4k as a daily driver. The ones I'm finding in my area are between 100-150k miles so I figure they have plenty of life left. I've been prowling the forums for awhile, so I know that the 99 XJ is the golden jewel of the line, I'm definitely not considering the 00 & 01's due to their overheating issue. My question is, are the 1997-1999 xj's pretty much the same? Any reason why everyone says to get a 99 instead of a 97 or 98?(apart... 1996 vs 1997 vs 1998 vs 1999 XJ
