Jaguar Land Rover is cutting hundreds of jobs after last year's crippling cyber attack. On Thursday, the carmaker said around 300 staff and managers would be axed as part of a cost-cutting drive. Mr Balaji has said the company was focused on "building back stronger" after the hack while preparing to launch the Range Rover Electric and Jaguar's new electric models. JLR is also overhauling its range of vehicles, having ended production of existing Jaguar models ahead of the launch of a new range of all-electric vehicles. BMW, Porsche, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz have all announced job cuts or restructuring programmes in recent months.
