Edwin Sifuna tears into Ruto's 40-minute address, equates it to time wastage

Sifuna rejected the suggestion outright, arguing that the president had wrongly equated the constitution's core values with his government's development record.
"Ruto just spent 40 minutes trying to create a false equivalence between our national values set out in the constitution and his so called 'development'," Sifuna said.
The senator insisted that the sequencing of the constitution itself undercuts Ruto's argument, noting that the document's foundational commitments precede its development-related provisions.
