Srinagar, Jul 30: Education Minister Sakina Itoo on Thursday said that the committee constituted to frame a transfer policy for Rehbar e Taleem, ReT, teachers has almost completed its work and its report is in the final stage, raising hopes for thousands of teachers awaiting a transfer policy. Speaking to reporters in Ganderbal, Itoo said the demand for a transfer policy for ReT teachers was genuine and the government was aware of the difficulties being faced by many of them. She said the committee had examined the issue in detail and the report was now in the final stage. She said appropriate action would be taken after the final inquiry report is submitted. She said the government is ensuring that eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits under the scheme in a transparent manner.
