Green Bay Packers legend Ahman Green, the franchise's all-time leading rusher, announced on Wednesday that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. "Last year, I got diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson's," Green told Tyler Dunne on his Go Long podcast (h/t Jason Owens of Yahoo Sports). "I didn't share it for a long time because I wanted to let my kids know, my family," Green continued. Per Owens, Green told Dunne that he is "focused on healthy living, including working out and nutrition in addition to taking medication to combat the symptoms of the disease." Green went on to advocate for awareness and early diagnosis of Parkinson's disease as part of a larger conversation surrounding head trauma associated with playing football.
