Amid a disappointing season, the New York Mets are reportedly set to be sellers ahead of Monday's MLB trade deadline. According to ESPN's Jeff Passan, the Mets "have six pitchers they're willing to move that have drawn strong interest," naming relievers Luke Weaver, Brooks Raley, A.J. Passan noted that the trade markets for starters and relievers are both deep as the deadline draws nearer. As for Holmes and Peralta, he described them as "two of the most desirable starters" at the trade deadline. Passan noted that star shortstop Francisco Lindor "isn't going anywhere."
