Tennessee Titans head coach Robert Saleh isn't backing down from his bold prediction about facing the New York Jets in Week 1 of the 2026 season. After reports surfaced that Saleh said at a fan event in Tennessee that the Titans are going to "kick the Jets' ass," the 47-year-old affirmed that it will be the plan when the two teams meet on Sept. 13. "I must've had over a thousand fan interactions at that event, so who knows? "I don't think the Jets are coming here Week 1 to sit at the 50-yard line, roast marshmallows and talk about our summers. There are also multiple players who will be facing their former team when New York and Tennessee face off.
