THE NEXT ‘Balsam Bash’ will take place this Saturday, August 1, at the Lickey Hills Country Park. The session, to get rid of the invasive plant that plagues the hills, will last around two hours. Anyone wanting to volunteer should meet at the Visitor Centre at 10am. The Lickey Hills Society, which has organised the event is reminding people that it will be warm. People should also take appropriate footwear, gardening gloves and their own drink to stay hydrated.
