THE TOWN’S MP is urging residents to have their say on the Bromsgrove Golf Centre Housing Plan. Bradley Thomas is calling on people to object to plans which would see up to 700 new homes built on Bromsgrove Golf Centre. Bromsgrove Golf Club is open to the public, has more than 1,000 members and is thought to house the largest junior academy in England. ‘Once it’s gone, it’s gone’Mr Machin added: “The potential development of 700 houses to replace the Bromsgrove Golf Centre facilities is harmful to Bromsgrove’s community, and poses a real risk, as it can never be replaced. Bromsgrove Golf Club was identified in the district council’s Local Plan when the owners put forward the space during a call for sites.
