A wanted individual was arrested following a search on Sweetgrass First NationOn July 28, members of the Saskatchewan Marshals Service (SMS) attended a residence on Sweetgrass First Nation. Marshals confirmed the wanted individual was inside the residence. Additional resources were deployed to assist in the search, including the Provincial Protective Services (PPS) Canine Unit, Battlefords RCMP, and Sweetgrass First Nation Security Officers (SO). Following an extensive search, the individual was located and arrested after attempting to evade police. A 33‑year‑old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant and taken into custody.
