MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Visit Mountaineer Country Convention and Visitors Bureau (VMCCVB) Board of Directors announced that they will officially launch its search for the organization’s next president & chief executive officer (CEO). The search follows confirmation that President and CEO Susan Riddle will depart the organization in mid-August to become CEO of Mylan Park. Visit Mountaineer Country Creative Director Hannah Winaught has been promoted to interim executive director, while the board conducts a nationwide search for a new president and CEO. The position will be publicly posted with candidates that have experience in destination leadership, nonprofit management, economic development or related fields expected to be considered as part of the search. The Board anticipates completing the search and selecting a new chief executive by the end of the year.
