A female police officer was stabbed in the neck and her alleged attacker shot in the leg during a daylight confrontation on a busy road in Adelaide, Australian police have said. As they moved to confront him, a female officer was stabbed in the neck and the 27-year-old suspect was shot in the leg by the police. "During the confrontation a police officer was stabbed in the neck," he said. "He has allegedly stabbed a police officer, so he will be facing some very serious charges," he said.
