Żibel has launched its second Tribe Bin in Gozo, giving beachgoers and divers another way to help keep the island’s coastline free of marine litter. The environmental NGO partnered with Ritual Dive to install the new bin at Xlendi Bay, next to the BCRS machine, as part of its ongoing efforts to reduce ocean plastic. The bins are designed to encourage the public to collect rubbish found in the sea or along the coast. After picking up litter, users simply scan the QR code on the bin, log what they’ve collected and receive a code to unlock it before depositing the waste inside.
