The lineup includes live music, dance performances, fitness classes, family celebrations, and special gatherings at multiple public plazas.
The season begins with a jazz concert by the Trevor Robertson Quartet on August 1 at The Plaza at 300 Ashland, hosted by the Brooklyn Public Library.
Additional weekly events include outdoor yoga sessions led by CorePower Yoga instructors at Abolitionist Place every Monday in August.
Classical reinterpretations of pop hits will be performed by BQE Strings on Mondays at Willoughby Plaza later that month.
Organizers say all events are open to the public and aim to bring together people from across Downtown Brooklyn’s diverse communities.
