July 29, 2026 By Business Daily reportsNewsmax CEO Chris Ruddy donated $10,000 to Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach days after Kobach joined a multistate legal effort to block Nexstar Media Group’s $6.2 billion acquisition of Tegna.
The contributions included one $8,000 donation and one $2,000 donation, according to filings with the Kansas Secretary of State.

Democratic Attorney General Charity Clark of Vermont later joined the coalition.
The effort subsequently became bipartisan when Kobach, Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita and Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday joined the case.
