The Kerala Vigilance has found no evidence against Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan in the Punarjani project case, prompting the government to close the probe. Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) has found no evidence against Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan in connection with allegations of irregularities in the Punarjani flood rehabilitation project and has decided to close all proceedings in the case, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala announced on Thursday. "The chief minister was not directly involved in any financial transaction, nor did the probe find any evidence against him.
