Highway near Canmore, Kananaskis targeting mid-August reopening after rockfall

A popular stretch of highway accessing Kananaskis Country through Canmore could reopen by the middle of August after a rockfall has left it closed for two months.
The ministry will install rock bolts to stabilize sections of the slope and add temporary rockfall barriers to stop rock debris hitting the road.
