WORTHINGTON — A new event is joining the lineup to raise funds for this year's King Turkey Day celebration, giving participants the chance to race across Worthington and compete for a one-of-a-kind prize. For the first time, the King Turkey Day Amazing Race will take place Aug. 13, with check-in beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Trojan Field. ADVERTISEMENTTeresa Widboom, a member of the King Turkey Day board of directors, said organizers hope the event will garner community support. Teams must register in advance through the King Turkey Day website.
