Hot Press travels to the Galway Arts Festival to experience Irish National Opera’s stunning new production Testament, which features a libretto from the celebrated author Colm Tóibín. An all-time Irish literary great with countless awards to his name, throughout his glittering career, Colm Tóibín has written a succession of hugely acclaimed novels. Adapted from Tóibín's novella The Testament Of Mary, the production offers an intimate and unsettling portrait of Mary in the final years of her life, as she reflects on Jesus’s death.
