In the event Bennedict Mathurin does end up departing from the LA Clippers in a sign-and-trade, head coach Tyronn Lue’s rotation will have a massive sixth-man role empty off the bench. And, to be quite honest, on the market, there aren’t a lot of fits the Clippers’ front office can look to. Four-year NBA veteran Brandon Williams would replace Mathurin like a glove. That’s okay though; all they have to do is sign Brandon Williams to the squad, and just like that, problem solved. In a potential contract, the Clippers don’t even have to sign Williams for long.
