RICHARDTON, N.D. — The Boehm Family Foundation has announced the recipients of its 2026 annual scholarship program, awarding $2,500 scholarships to Joseph Bohn and Riley Conlon of Richardton. The Boehm Family Foundation was established in 2016 by the family of the late Duane Boehm, a lifelong Richardton resident, farmer and rancher. Boehm and his wife, Chantra, raised beef cattle and farmed southeast of Richardton for nearly 45 years, including more than two decades in organic farming. "Creating the foundation and awarding scholarships to RTPS students annually was something our dad, Duane Boehm, talked about making a reality before he passed away," sisters Sandi Boehm and Jenn Tufaro said in a joint statement. The sisters said their parents instilled the values of agriculture and family through years of working on the farm and ranch together.
