The low-profile antenna connects to SES’s multi-orbit satellite network, allowing aircraft to switch between satellites operating in different orbits. “LATAM’s passengers will soon benefit from reliable, multi-orbit satellite connectivity that will provide the same fast and dependable internet access they enjoy at home no matter where or when they fly. Overall, more than 250 LATAM aircraft are currently equipped with SES powered Wi Fi, making it the largest SES connected fleet in the region. As airlines continue investing in digital passenger services, multi-orbit connectivity is becoming an increasingly important differentiator.
