CEO Jensen Huang introduced the RTX Spark "superchip" during his Computex 2026 keynote, describing it as the fusion of Nvidia's AI and RTX graphics technology into a single chip built specifically for slim laptops and compact desktops.
Asus plans two RTX Spark laptops based on its ProArt P14 and P16 creator lines, featuring OLED displays configurable up to 4K at 120Hz on the larger model, alongside a compact ProArt Mini PC using the same chip.
Dell's XPS 16 Creator Edition will offer an RTX Spark configuration, while Microsoft's upcoming Surface Laptop Ultra is expected to feature a 15-inch mini-LED touchscreen with 2,000 nits of peak brightness.
Nvidia also unveiled a larger workstation sibling called DGX Station for Windows, extending the RTX Spark family beyond consumer laptops into higher-end professional hardware.
Continued attention to real-world battery life, thermal performance in the thin laptop chassis Nvidia is targeting, and software support for the chip's on-device AI capabilities is likely as the first wave of RTX Spark machines ships.
