Myanmar Resistance Coalitions Meet to Streamline Strategy Amid Junta Pressure

Myanmar resistance forces and ethnic armed organizations (EAOs) met with the Steering Council for the Emergence of a Federal Democratic Union (SCEF) in late July to synchronize political and military operations.
The strategic consultations come as the military junta attempts to fragment opposition unity through selective peace talks and defector amnesties.
"The main pillars are military, political, financial, and federal affairs."
Former military officer Captain Zin Yaw noted that this unified posture provides crucial support for forces on the ground.
"If there is genuine alignment and strategic cooperation, the revolution’s prospects for success increase significantly," Zin Yaw said.
