Photo: Ross Halfin Black Sabbath legend Tony Iommi has announced his first solo album since 2005. Iommi said: "It's an album we've really enjoyed making. The rock icon's last studio album was Black Sabbath's farewell album, 2013's '13', which followed 2012's 'WhoCares', his project with Ian Gillan and a bunch of special guests. Last year, he appeared on Robbie Williams' single Rocket, the opening track from his album 'BRITPOP', released in January. Last summer, Black Sabbath, completed by Geezer Butler, Bill Ward and the late Ozzy Osbourne, reunited for Ozzy's final live performance at Birmingham’s Villa Park, 17 days after which he passed away.
