News – NBC4 Washington
Prince George's County residents with an interest in what happens to the former Six Flags site get a new opportunity to make their voices heard.
The public can now vote on what name is given to the 515-acre project on Central Avenue in Bowie.
“This is a new chapter for Prince George’s County and one that will be guided by a son of Prince George’s County, NBA legend Kevin Durant,” County Executive Aisha Braveboy said at the time.
On Tuesday, the development group opened up the public vote on what to name the project.
You can vote in the poll for the new name, and fill out a community survey with your thoughts on what the redevelopment should include, at this website.
