A senior member of the Prince George’s County Sheriff’s Office has been placed on leave, one day after News4 asked questions about their recent social media post. On Thursday, a spokesperson for the Prince George’s County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to News4 that Brown has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation into the posts. Placing Chief of Staff Brown on leave allows Internal Affairs to conduct a full and fair review. In addition to News4’s questions, the sheriff’s office said it also received an anonymous complaint about the post. "Essentially, instead of going to the sheriff with a problem, I'm supposed to be able to go to the chief of staff," Yancy said.
