Black Bear has debuted the first trailer for Wicker, writer-directors Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson’s upcoming adaptation of Ursula Wills’ acclaimed short story The Wicker Husband. The fantasy comedy stars Olivia Colman as an ostracized fisherwoman who pays a local basketmaker to weave her a wicker husband. But when he proves to be more spectacular than anyone could have ever imagined, jealousy ignites, sending their small village into upheaval.
